2010 Glen McLeod Memorial Tournament
Monday, February 1st - Sunday, February 7th, 2010
[December 2009] The Glenn McLeod Memorial Tournament is scheduled here at Sir John Franklin from February 1 to 7th. The team slots are nearly full, so if you are interested in playing, you have to get your registration in now. Call the club for registration information.

2009 review
[Feb, 2009] Thank you to all the participants who participated in the 2009 Winter Carnival. We had a lot of fun and excellent weather brought significant crowds to watch the games and enjoy the community centre.
The anual winter carnival hockey tournament was the cornerstone of the carnival..
We're finalizing some details right now, so please watch here for news updates.
[Feb 2009] Updates:
- Free public skating
- Toboggan slide
- Jam pail curling
- Inflatable bouncer set up in the gym (Saturday Feb 7) from 11 to 3.
- Canteen will be open and there will be an outdoor BBQ as well.
- Lots of hockey games to watch, too! The tournament has been going on all week, with the finals this weekend.
- Come down and enjoy the Sir John Franklin Community Centre Winter Carnival Saturday and Sunday. See you there!
Sir John Franklin Community Centre has been presenting a Winter Carnival for members of our community for many years. This is one of the most popular weekends in our annual calendar, including hockey.
The last few years of carnivals went really well, and many of the same people are working toward creating an even better event for 2009. We are back home this year, hosting the entire carnival ourselves.
We look forward to seeing you there!
