The current Board members at Sir John Franklin represents you and is here to serve you, the community. We are here to listen to you and hope to assist you in making the community centre a valuable part of your life.

NOTE: Vacant positions can be appointed at any regular board meeting. These and other volunteer opportunities are available at the centre. We ask members of the community interested in keeping SJFCC a vibrant place for our area to please step up and commit to doing two years or more as a volunteer at your local community centre.

The Annual General Meeting is the opportunity for board members to renew their commitment as well as an opportunity for new people to come forward. This meeting usually takes place late in the month of May each year. Some changes have been made to the constitution at 2006 and 2007 AGMs but below is the general structure.

We are looking for new faces on the Sir John Franklin Community Centre Board. All positions are open for election at the AGM at the end of May, and several of the volunteers would be willing to guide newly elected people through the activities.
