Sir John Franklin Community Centre has recently joined together with River Heights and Crescentwood Community Centres to form the Central Corydon Community Centre, also known as C4.

We welcome you to our a new chapter in our history with this new site, and look forward to your visit at any of the three sites we operate from.

The Sir John Franklin Explorers have a rich tradition of success in our community. We have numerous championships to our name and more importantly many, many fond memories of youngsters who got their introduction to the sport here.

We have a busy Baseball league, and are happy to direct those interested in the slightly different sport of Softball to our neighbouring Tuxedo Community Centre.

We will not be taking softball registrations at Sir John Franklin Community Centre, but wish you a great season with Tuxedo!

Anyone wishing to play softball this season, please register at Tuxedo Community Centre, 368 Southport.  Registration will take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, March 2nd and 9th, 2011
    from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the skate building
  • Saturday, March 5th, 2011
    from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon in the skate building

Softball prorams will be offered for:

  • boys and girls ages 5-7
  • girls only leagues ages 8-19
